Oprah, Damon, and MSNBC, Why Celebrities Should Stick To a Script.

Perusing Newsbusters.org One runs across several prime examples of Sheer unadulterated stupidity
on the part of Americas best and brightest. First Oprah in an interview with the BBC complained that B. H. Obama, our beloved helmsman was only being treated with disrespect because he was black.(apparently she doesn't realize that given his total lack of Qualifications the only reason he was elected is because he was black.)

She then goes on to lament that the horrors faced by blacks in America today,
"Are there still places where people are terrorized because of the color of their skin, because of the color of their black skin? Yes. But there are laws that have allowed us to progress beyond what we saw in the Scottsboro boys and beyond the even the prejudice we see in “The Butler.”(1)

Actually there are places where black people are terrorized. There called the inner cities and the terrorizing is by blacks killing other blacks in the thousands. Given the statistics for interracial murder, (far more likely to be Black on White, than White on Black) one has to ask whose terrorizing whom.

Of course Oprah has an answer for this,Of course problem is not solved. "You know, as long as people can be judged by the color of their skin, problem’s not solved. As long as there are people who still, there’s a whole generation – I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, community in the south - there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die."(1)

Well Judging white people by the color of their skin certainly doesn't seem to bother Oprah. one wonders how many Black people have to die before black racism disappears. Given that Oprah
relies on millions of white sheeple to watch the tripe she puts on the air one would think she would be less judgmental.

Our second piece this evening comes from the insightful mind of Matt Damon. As Noel Sheppard reports Damon, in an interview with Jake Tapper of CNN ,responding to Jeb Bush's observation that he was a public school advocate while sending his children to private school,  makes the brilliant observation  "I'd eat my shoe if he could name a Bush that ever even walked into a public school"(2). Of course the unclouded mind will go back to the film of Bush sitting in a public school when told of 911. Add to that the facts Bush's children attended public schools in Texas and his wife taught in public schools and Damon looks very much like a braying Jackass.

Liz Winstead Comedian and policy expert
Anthea Butler: I wonder where that clenched fist salute
comes from?
Our third demonstration of what a circus political discourse has become in this country came from Tim Graham who reports of an MSNBC discussion called  “The All-Out Assault on Women.” 1st panel member Liz Winstead called for the elimination of voting and free speech rights for pro life Americans," LIZZ WINSTEAD: I never have understood how anybody gets a seat at any decision-making table by saying two different things. One: “I’m not a doctor, and I know nothing about science, but –“ Okay, out! Two: “I want to reduce the number of abortions, and the way I want to do that is to remove access to affordable birth control.” You? Out!"3 As  Graham points out neither Winstead or the other panel member were doctors or Scientists.

the hyphenated Hallis-Perry then goes on to describe the aims of the pro-lifers , "So no contraception, no abortion – compulsory pregnancy – and then, the children that you have, have to be hungry. Because that is what will punish you for having had sex." to which Winstead replies " They don’t want poor women to have joy."3. Rounded out by uniquely coiffed
Anthea Butler, a so called religion professor who defined the problem thusly "No they don’t, and they want to sacralize sperm, and it’s time we quit sacralizing sperm in this country, and making it the most important thing that there is."3
